I learned that one of my friends who is wonderful beyond words is feeling content, and happy, and hopeful, and I am proud and so glad.
I sort of just feel like I’m being carried along on a huge wave of love.

Following on from yesterday’s post about my friend James and his financial hardship, I am accepting commissions. If you have some money to spare and can make a donation to James’s appeal, I will make you a thing! I’ve tried to come up with a Kickstarter-style sliding scale of incentives (say that three times fast), from ficlets to multifandom fanvids.
Available fandoms and prices below. If you’ve already donated, you can absolutely still commission something.
Available media: fic, vids, podfic
Possibly also available: icons, graphics/gifs, rec lists, fanmixes, meta, anything else you can think of that I might be able to do.
Examples of my work: fanworks masterlist | tag list | AO3 account | tumblr graphics & gifs
Reblogging on behalf of my lovely (and talented!) friend, and her friend who is trying to cope after the death of his partner in December.

This part of the song/movie was my favorite for as long as I can remember (this being my all-time favorite Disney movie, and my absolutely favorite movie as a kid). When she sings, ”I want adventure in the great wide somewhere! I want it more than I can tell. And for once it might be grand to have someone understand I want so much more than they’ve got planned…”, something in me really resonates. And now I’m like…I don’t want to be here in my family home studying for a stupid test and applying to graduate school and whatever. I want to be changing the world, NOW. I want to be expressing my love for my S.O. in dramatic, huge gestures, NOW. I want to be traveling. I want to be working hard at something I love. And I am so impatient!

My sister is brilliant and wonderful and amazing and she got a first and she’s lovely and glorious and I cannot wait to see her again and I’m so happy for her and she’s a star.
I might have mentioned this before, but my sister is wonderful and I adore her.

Look at the skirt my housemate picked out for me! It’s French Connection, and it was £2.50.
Reason no. umpteen why living with these people is lovely.
As usual I spent my Day of Silence…thinking and being alone. This year is the seventh time I’ve participated in the Day of Silence although it was much more significant in high school simply because of how my day was structured; more people witnessed my silence and our scream was louder. This year…
I didn’t do Day of Silence, but elytra did, and these are her reflections.
