Apparently “eye-bombing” is a thing in the street art movement.

Reasons I am happy:
I went for a run yesterday
It’s sunny
My job is lovely
The more I see of the practice the more I enjoy what they do
I get to spend today working on the model
The director thanked me for my work
I’m going away tomorrow
and seeing my mentor
and a heap of my friends
including the athlete
who just got a new job designing book covers
I’ll get to spend time with the climber
I’ve been listening to lots of good music
I have a psychiatrist appointment tomorrow and this makes me feel looked after
and I know what I want to say and I hope it will be productive
I had lunch with a lovely friend yesterday
I might go to a lunchtime concert next week
There are leaves coming out on the trees
The new boots I bought are so comfortable
Everything feels good
I’m at a queer feminist burlesque theatre collective’s sketch cabaret performance and it’s wonderful and I love it.

Today at work I got to put away the new delivery of shoes in the boot alley. It’s pretty much my favourite of all the tasks there are there. It appeals to all the spatial-logical bits of my brain and it’s simple but just complicated enough to be satisfying and when it’s done well it makes things so much better. Working out where things should go and how they’ll fit and what should be moved around to make it all logical and effective and well-organised… yes please.

Guess who was outgoing and texted a colleague and arranged to go climbing this afternoon? This girl here.
Why yes, I do like having a free climbing wall nearby, and I do like being friends with the staff, and I do like that it’s warm and new and has lots of grade 5/6 routes, and I do like that I got a free harness last week and it matches my climbing shoes. Good. Times.
