Today at work I got to put away the new delivery of shoes in the boot alley. It’s pretty much my favourite of all the tasks there are there. It appeals to all the spatial-logical bits of my brain and it’s simple but just complicated enough to be satisfying and when it’s done well it makes things so much better. Working out where things should go and how they’ll fit and what should be moved around to make it all logical and effective and well-organised… yes please.

life-of-an-architecture-student:
Architecture students treat studio like home, literally.
I heard a few weeks ago that school has accepted my deferral. I’m going to be a denizen of studio once again…

tomorrow: up quickly and early. scramble pens and stuff together, walk to the heath, sit tech exam (it’s ok, all you need to do is be coherent, you don’t even need to pass, it’s a breeze). walk back home (please don’t rain on me) and dive back into design. maybe into uni to print? and buy cardboard? be focussed, make things.
now: sleep
