I feel like such a grown-up. Yesterday I called HMRC and sorted out my tax codes so now they’re right. Today I emailed someone at uni to check that he will act as my professional advisor and registered with PEDR and started filling out my record. I’m meeting with one of the directors on Friday - this is a positive thing, for all that it might be difficult. I booked a doctor’s appointment. I turned down an extra shift at my other work. Check me.

rest: slept 11pm - 6.30am

feeling: good. happy. enjoyed the day. swollen throat.

food: normal breakfast, normal lunch, snack bars, normal dinner

company: colleagues.

work: short day. no proper project work to do, just research stuff.

activity: up. train into town. killed time, bought a sketchbook. met with cpn. train into the city. work. train home. internets/music/reading.

rest: slept 1am - 5.45am, then dozed til 7.30.

feeling: not with it. a bit zoned out. lots of “should be dead” thoughts. better when I’ve been lost in work. want to get away from the world. jaw aches. slight headache.

mood: 4

food: small breakfast. late lunch. small-ish dinner. still felt really full though.

company: sister. messages from the climber. a couple of texts.

work: no. though I did some research type stuff.

activity: read through/made notes on a few papers. walked into town; went to a charity shop and the library and the stationers. walked home. read more. internets, a bit of tv.

rest: slept 11pm - 8.30am, 12.30pm - 3.30pm.

feeling: worn out, but not as uneasy as yesterday.

mood: 4/5

Blargh. I haven’t looked into the sources, but… Considering that being an architect requires four years more schooling than the other professions profiled here, and that most people training as architects won’t start earning until they’re in their mid- or late-twenties…

work: yep. meeting then model shots then document work.

activity: up. train to work. printed plans. travelled out, meeting, travelled back. work. walked to the restaurant, met my family, went to see la boheme. train home. internets a bit.

rest: slept 11pm - 6.30am ish.

feeling: fuzzy headed - not quite present. tired? slight headache again.
